Build on your existing scuba skills in this two-day buoyancy specialty course. Practice weighting, trim, streamlining, and hovering techniques during two dives.
- Determine the weight you need for balanced diving
- Trim your gear and weight system in the water
- Streamline your setup to use air more efficiently
- Practice hovering in vertical and horizontal positions
- Apply your first dive toward an Advanced Open Water Diver certification, when eligible
Know before you go
- Participants must be ages 12 and up
- Arrive by 8:00am for check-in; meetup schedule is to be determined
- Provide your Open Water Certification Number and certification association at booking
- Provide an email address for e-learning and an address for certification card delivery
Cancellation Policy
Course fees are non-refundable, including unused portions. You have one year from purchase to participate or forfeit the value paid. A $125 per-person rescheduling fee applies if you cancel, drop, no-show, arrive late, or arrive unprepared.

Bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, sandals, change of clothes, and lunch or money. You may also bring a face mask or facial covering.
