Head out from Venice Marina for an inshore charter built around hands-on fishing and local know-how. Your captain adapts the plan to the season and conditions as you work flats, bays, and hidden cuts for popular inshore species.
Everyone 18 and older must have a Louisiana fishing license. A 3-day saltwater charter passenger license is available online for $20 from the Louisiana Wildlife & Fisheries Department.
Deposits are non-refundable. Reschedule and keep your deposit if you cancel 22+ days before. If you cancel 8–21 days before, 50% of the total charter cost is due; 7 days or less, full cost is due. If the operator cancels for unsafe weather, no refunds; deposit stays valid.

Venice Marina
Captains Willy, Bob, Jordan, and Chad have built a strong reputation in Venice, Louisiana, consistently putting clients on fish even when conditions don't cooperate. The recurring theme across reviews is persistence, with captains willing to run further, adjust plans, and break from the pack to find productive water. The boats are described as well-maintained and high-end, and the gear matches that standard. Inshore and offshore trips both get strong marks, with yellowfin tuna, redfish, wahoo, and snapper all showing up in catches. Captain Jordan stands out for his patience with beginners on inshore trips, while Captains Willy and Bob draw repeat customers on the offshore side. The booking and communication process also gets consistent praise, with staff helping plan logistics like lodging and transportation well in advance. One negative review flagged a frustrating trip where clients felt left on the sidelines, though this appears to be an outlier given the overwhelmingly positive pattern across hundreds of reviews. For anyone planning an offshore or inshore trip out of Venice, the experience here seems genuinely solid across multiple captains and trip styles.
This Sunday was my very first time deep sea fishing and it was honestly such a great experience! I’ve never caught as many fish as I did this weekend! Cooking lots of fish this weekend for the fam!! Definitely recommend it!
