Isle Royale Guided Sightseeing Cruise

GREAT destination!!! Worth the trip from literally ANYWHERE. Even the food was very good, considering everything has to be shipped in, turned around VERY QUICKLY amd please a broad range of visitors. The staff we interacted with were extremely helpful, informative and seemed to be enjoying themselves, which is always a bonus. My main recommendation is to practice using paper maps a few times before visiting because much of the time you only have a GPS signal, no wireless / wifi / internet, so even dedicated trails apps by themselves don't give you a great feel for where you are, where you wanna go and how to get there. The best approach I found was to track how far I'd traveled via the trails app or Google maps, refer back to the paper maps and triangulate from there...
