Itinerary

• Arrive at Finley & James for check in, finalize waivers, and get fitted for your gear.
• Board the shuttle for the upstream drop-off point on the James River.
• Enjoy a scenic float back with your choice of kayak, canoe, or raft.
• Return to the private takeout, then head back to camp, your RV site, or head home.

Important details

• All participants must sign a waiver before arrival
• Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian signature on their waiver
• Return all rental equipment by 7:00 PM; late returns may incur an additional charge equal to the full rental price
• Bring water-friendly clothing, secure footwear, and sun protection
• Leave glass containers, water-sensitive valuables, and items that may harm the river environment at home
• Requires comfort on the water and readiness for a full outdoor river day
• Park only in the designated parking area
