PITTSBURG LANDING AT 7AM PACIFIC TIME
The crew here absolutely makes the experience. Captains Eric and Mike get consistent shoutouts for their skillful handling of the rapids and genuine enthusiasm, while deckhands like Trenton and Taylor keep the energy high and help with everything from untangling fishing lines to making sure everyone gets soaked at just the right moment. People genuinely feel safe with these guides, even those who admit to being nervous about river trips beforehand. The Hells Canyon jet boat tours are the main draw, with families and couples alike raving about the stunning scenery and thrilling rapids. Fishing trips are also popular, with sturgeon and bass catches making for memorable days on the water. Guests love that the crew tailors the experience to the group's comfort level, whether that means multiple passes through rapids for thrill-seekers or a more relaxed pace. The provided lunch gets positive mentions, and there's apparently great ice cream at their shop. With nearly everyone saying they'll return next year, it's clear this outfit has the combination of adventure and hospitality dialed in.
My business trip to Kirby Creek Lodge with Kilgore Adventures was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we met our boat driver, Rusty, and his son Max, we instantly knew we were in great hands. Their warmth, confidence, and genuine love for what they do set the tone for the entire journey. Arriving at the lodge felt like coming home to old friends. Casey and Jeremy welcomed us with the kind of hospitality you don’t forget. Casey’s meals were absolutely unforgettable the kind of food that makes you pause mid-bite just to appreciate it while Rusty and Max made every day on the river an adventure we’ll be talking about for years. If you’re even thinking about booking a trip with Kilgore Adventures to Kirby Creek Lodge, do it. The people, the place, the experience all five-star worthy and then some. Highly, highly recommend!
