Know before you go
- Allow a 45-minute buffer after your ship arrives and before it departs
- Accurate clothed body weights are required and verified at base; weight determines your fare category: 1–259 lb, 260–299 lb, or 300+ lb
- Significant weight discrepancies may lead to additional fees, delays, or cancellation
- Requires independent entry and exit from the aircraft
- Leave bags at base; bags are not allowed aboard the aircraft
- Lap children are not permitted; every passenger needs a full-fare ticket
- Expect helicopter seating to depend on weight and balance; parties may be split but will land together
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 7 days before for a full refund. Cancellations 4–6 days before are charged 50%; no refund within 3 days. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or flight schedule delays and cannot reschedule, or if your cruise sailing is canceled and no later time is available.
FAQs
Dress warmly in layers and bring a hat, gloves, sunglasses, and a camera. Conditions on the glacier average 15–20 degrees cooler than in port. Glacier over-boots are provided, and rain jackets and pants are available if needed.
Each departure requires at least four passengers. If your party has three or fewer and no other parties join your departure, it may be rescheduled or canceled.
This tour operates from May through August. The season end date may change due to summer weather and snow conditions.
