Soar over the Juneau Icefield on a narrated helicopter flight, then land on Herbert Glacier for a guided walk. Explore icefalls, crevasses, moulins, ponds, and streams with your pilot-guide.
Cancel 7+ days before your tour for a full refund; 4–6 days before for a 50% refund; within 3 days, no refund. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or flight schedule delay and cannot reschedule, or if your cruise sailing is canceled and the tour cannot be rescheduled.
Dress warmly in layers and bring a hat, gloves, and sunglasses. The glacier is often 15–20°F colder than port. Glacier over-boots are provided, and rain jackets and pants are available if needed.
No minimum fitness level is required for the Icefield Excursion.
No bags of any size are allowed aboard the aircraft. Leave bags in the locked bins at the tour office during your trip.
