Refresh core scuba skills before heading from shore into shallow water and onto a coral reef. Practice with a small group that may include divers with minimal experience.

Important details

• Swim 200 yards unassisted
• Avoid going above 1,000 feet for 12 hours after one dive and 18 hours after deep or multiple dives
• Carry your own 25–70 lb equipment on an approximately 3-minute walk to the ocean if joining as a non-certified diver
