Kansas City Museums, Parks & History Segway Tour: The Launch: 39th & Main Shop Kick off your adventure at our historic Hyde Park shop right off the Westport streetcar line. We start with personalized, hands-on training to make sure everyone feels like a seasoned pro before rolling out. Safety First: Full one-on-one Segway training, helmet fittings, and a quick spin to lock in your comfort level. Architecture Cruise: Leave the shop behind as we glide down Main Street, taking in the stunning, historic mansions and bold architecture of the surrounding arts district. Stop 1: The Creative Campus Roll up to the campus of the Kansas City Art Institute, a vibrant hub of local creativity tucked into the historic neighborhood. Campus Glide: Zip past dynamic outdoor student installations and gorgeous historic brick buildings. Vanderslice Spirit: Hear stories of the legendary student culture, the historic Vanderslice hall, and the artistic visionaries who have shaped KC’s art scene for over a century. Stop 2: The Sculpture & Garden Zip Cruise over to the sprawling grounds of The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and the adjacent Ewing and Muriel Kauffman Memorial Garden. Shuttlecock Slalom: Zip along the sweeping lawns of the neoclassical gallery and pose for iconic action photos next to the massive, world-famous lawn sculptures. Tranquil Trails: Navigate the peaceful, beautifully manicured paths and trickling fountains of the Kauffman memorial Garden while learning about the city's greatest philanthropists. Stop 3: The Plaza Promenade Descend down into the iconic Country Club Plaza, America's original outdoor shopping district, beautifully modeled after the historic architecture of Seville, Spain. Fountain & Tower Glide: Weave through gorgeous plazas, spotting intricate tilework, Spanish-inspired towers, and roaring fountains that make you feel like you've crossed the Atlantic. Grandeur History: Discover the fascinating history behind the district's architectural boom, its authentic Spanish influences, and how it revolutionized the city's modern layout. The Return: Historic Westport Head north to work your way back to the shop via the legendary streets of Midtown - Westport. Grit & Civil War Lore: Roll right through the old western frontier hub and the historic footprint of the Battle of Westport. Modern Energy: Pass by the bustling local restaurants and nightlife spots that keep the city's oldest commercial district thriving today.

• Arrive 30 minutes before departure for a safety video, helmet fitting and individual Segway training
• Weight limit: 100–280 lbs
• If you are under 18, an adult age 21 or older must accompany you
• Expectant mothers cannot participate
• Sign a liability waiver before the tour
• Wear a helmet during the tour
• Remove caps before putting on your helmet
• Closed-toe, flat shoes are strongly preferred
• Do not participate under the influence of alcohol
• Not suitable for limited mobility; requires walking or standing for substantial distances unaided
