Important details
- Ages 6+ may participate in a kayak or stand-up paddleboard; one child age 5 or younger may join as a lap rider per paying adult
- Complete the required liability waiver, which includes a photo and model release
- Meet American Canoe Association Essential Eligibility Criteria, including the ability to recover from a capsize with reasonable assistance when needed
- Wear non-cotton layers, quick-drying clothing, a fleece, rain and wind layers, a hat, and shoes that can get wet; flip-flops are discouraged
- Expect wind and variable outdoor conditions on the water
Cancellation Policy
Cancel before 5 PM the day before for a full refund minus credit card processing fees. No refunds within 1 day of start, for no-shows, or if a guide turns you back. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather.
FAQs
Participation requires meeting the American Canoe Association Essential Eligibility Criteria independently or with a companion’s assistance, including maintaining an airway, communicating, getting in and out of a paddlecraft, and recovering from a capsize.
Alcohol and drugs are prohibited before and during the activity. Pregnancy or medical conditions that may affect safe participation may require medical clearance.
You are financially responsible for equipment lost or damaged beyond normal wear and tear.
