This tour requires meeting the American Canoe Association Essential Eligibility Criteria for paddling, independently or with assistance from a companion. This includes maintaining a sealed airway underwater, floating face-up in a life jacket, getting out from under a capsized paddlecraft, and reentering it after a deep-water capsize.
A signed, legally binding waiver is required. It includes an assumption of risk, liability release, equipment rental terms, photo and model release, and mediation or arbitration terms.
The Seven Mile Canoe Trail is moderately strenuous and requires a minimum level of fitness and mobility. Your guide determines whether you can safely participate and may turn you back or remove you from the activity for safety reasons; no refund is issued in these cases.

Can't express enough how grateful and happy I am with Derek and Adventures by True North! I rented bear spray and chest strap, a cooler, and camping chairs for an Ultra Marathon Trail Race and he went above and beyond in every way possible. It wasn't much equipment to rent but how kind and knowledgeable he was made me want to come back to go on a guided Northern Lights adventure with them in the future. Truly one of the kindest people I've ever met.
