Important details
- Ages 7+ only. Each child under 13 requires a parent or guardian from the same party in their kayak. If you're paddling with a young child, expect to do all the paddling.
- Participation is not permitted during pregnancy.
- Children ages 16 and older may attend without an adult if a parent or guardian signs the waiver and medical release.
- For a child weighing under 50 pounds, bring a U.S. Coast Guard-certified personal flotation device.
- Complete and submit the medical information form and waiver before the adventure begins. You can complete the forms on site if needed.
- Wait in your vehicle until your guide greets you, and do not explore the preserve on your own.
- Bring a bag and carry out all trash and food debris.
- If unfavorable conditions develop on the water, the adventure will continue on land.
- Arrive on time for check-in and instruction. Instruction is required to participate.
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 72 hours before start for a refund minus the $10 booking fee per person and nonrefundable platform fees. No refunds or rain checks within 72 hours, for late arrivals or no-shows. Tours run rain or shine. Unsafe-weather cancellations are decided on site at check-in; you'll receive a rain check with no expiration, not a refund.

Wear sturdy shoes such as sneakers, boots, or sandals with an ankle strap; your feet will get wet and muddy. Long pants and a light long-sleeve shirt are recommended.
