Things to know
Hip boots or full waders are required; rentals are available if you don’t have them. Minimum 2 guests per booking; an exclusive tour isn’t guaranteed unless you purchase at least 5 seats. A deposit is required, and the remaining balance is charged automatically 7 days before the tour date.
Cancellation Policy
Full refund with at least 30 days notice before the tour date. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows will be charged the full price.
FAQs
Dress in layers and plan to get wet while working in a cold mountain stream. Bring water, snacks, insect repellent, binoculars, hats, gloves, rain gear, and two pairs of socks (and/or extra-warm socks). Consider bringing rubber gloves; extra-long gloves are sold at the gift store.
Wear hip boots or full waders. If you don’t have them, rentals are available. Rubber boots are helpful but not required.
Book for at least 2 guests. If you’re traveling solo, you can book two seats to meet the minimum.
