Explore a Florida Keys wreck dive on the Spiegel Grove, Duane, or Bibb. Massive ships and decades of coral growth create dramatic artificial reefs beneath the surface.
- Descend to a wreck selected by the day's schedule and conditions
- Explore coral-encrusted decks and open passageways 120 to 130 feet below the surface
- Continue with a captain's-choice second dive at a reef, another wreck, or the same wreck
- Look for goliath grouper, barracuda, jacks, moray eels, and coral growth
- Use Nitrox if preferred; it is recommended but not required
Itinerary
Check in at Scuba-Fun Dive Center at 7:00 AM Gear fitting and safety briefing on the dock Board the boat — departure approximately 45 minutes after check-in Boat ride to wreck site (approximately 45 minutes) First dive on the wreck — bottom time varies by depth, air consumption, and certification level Surface interval on the boat — captain repositions to second site Second dive — approximately 45–60 minutes depending on site and depth Boat ride back to the dive center. Return approximately 12:00 PM

Important details
- Arrive by 7:00 AM for morning check-in; arrivals after 7:20 AM are considered late
- Ages 15+ only
- Advanced Open Water certification is required to dive without a guide; Open Water divers require an instructor guide
- A guide is required if your most recent deep dive was more than 12 months ago, and for solo divers
- Use a guide for everyone in your group if any one diver requires one
- Bring your certification card or proof of certification
- Carry a dive computer and surface marker buoy (SMB); both are available to rent or purchase
- Complete the required Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) medical questionnaire; a signed doctor's release is required for any yes answers
- Requires climbing the boat ladder unassisted
- Pregnant travelers cannot participate; severe back or neck conditions, recent surgery, and heart problems are not recommended
- Arrange your own transportation between the dive center and marina
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 24 hours before check-in for 1–4 people, 72 hours for 5–10, or 7 days for 11+. Refunds exclude a 3.5% administrative fee; cancellations within 48 hours also incur a $25 per-person fee. Late cancellations, late arrivals, and no-shows are nonrefundable. Receive a full refund if unsafe sea conditions cancel the trip.
