Key West Reef Snorkeling Charter

A MUST-DO IN KEY WEST!!! Evan, The Happy Captain, is an absolute class act. I’ve had the pleasure of going out with him twice now. Each time was a blast! First off, The Happy Captain operates the only private glass-bottom boat in the Keys, which offered spectacular views before we even left the boat. Once we hopped off, it was another world. Evan knows every reef, sandbar, and mangrove out there, and within minutes we were experiencing true nature. The year-round warm water and great visibility mean there’s always something beautiful to see. Colorful reef fish? Yep! Coral of every shape and size? Check! Sea turtles? If you’re lucky! Then it was on to the sand bar for casual drinks, laughs, and serious good times. It’s a taste of the good life all to yourself. The second and most recent trip with Evan was a very special one. After a little back and forth, we hatched a plan for a picture-perfect sunset cruise out to the mangroves to propose to my girlfriend. We cruised out there and explored around the island for a bit as they helped get the spot set up. When it came time to pop the question, everything fell into place better than I could have ever hoped (she said yes), and it was truly special. Thanks in no small part to Evan and his amazing wife. A bottle of champagne even found its way onto the boat, and Evan had some great music queued up for the ride back as we gazed at a magnificent sunset! They are genuinely great people who know how to treat their customers and have a great time. So take it from me, skip the crowded pontoons and have a personal, beautifully curated experience with The Happy Captain! I know we’ll be back, and back again after that!
