• Snowshoe weight capacities are 50 lbs for extra-small, 100 lbs for small, 150 lbs for medium, 200 lbs for large, and 250 lbs for extra-large. Include the weight of your clothing and carried gear when choosing your size.
• Requires physical and mental fitness for the activity, with no medical condition or impairment that increases your risk. Medical clearance may be required for pregnancy or a condition affecting participation.
• Participation requires no symptoms of contagious illness, no known COVID-19 exposure within the previous 14 days, and no advice to self-isolate or quarantine.
• Late-return charges are not included in the listed price: twice the daily rental rate for each overdue day. If your late return affects another rental or tour, you'll also be charged the entire cost of that activity.
• Additional cleaning charges apply if equipment is returned excessively dirty. Damage or loss beyond ordinary wear is your financial responsibility, with charges up to full retail replacement cost, plus staff time and overnight shipping to Alaska. These charges are not included in the listed price.
• A liability waiver and rental agreement are required. The agreement includes consent to promotional use of your image and voice, and mediation followed by binding arbitration for disputes.
• Bring and wear personal clothing and gear suitable for the winter environment.
• Alcohol and drug use before or during the activity is prohibited. Follow staff instructions and applicable health and safety protocols.
• Inspect equipment before use, use it according to the supplied instructions, and return it in its original condition except for ordinary wear. Do not alter or repair rented equipment.
• Return all equipment by 5 PM the following day.
