• A signed liability waiver is required and includes an assumption of risk and photo/model release
• Requires American Canoe Association paddling eligibility, including capsize exit, reentry, and face-up flotation in a life jacket
• Requires paddling long distances on lakes and rivers, including in wind and currents
• Bring and wear non-cotton, quick-drying layers, rain and wind outerwear, a hat, and shoes that can get wet; flip-flops are discouraged
• Cold-water sections may be below 55°F; exposure suits are limited, and guides may require one in extreme conditions
• Do not consume alcohol or drugs before or during the trip
• A credit card must remain on file; you are responsible for equipment damage, loss, unusual cleaning, and replacement costs
