Important details
- Renter must be 21 or older; drivers must be at least 16 and comply with Colorado boating laws and age requirements
- Weight limit 1,500 lbs
- Dogs are allowed and count as passengers toward capacity
- You are responsible for the cost of damage to rental equipment and marina property
- Wear a life jacket at all times while on the boat
- Drivers cannot be under the influence
- Do not cross buoy lines, and stay at least 50 yards/meters from all shorelines
- Yield to non-motorized boats and maintain wakeless speed
- Operate only between daylight and dark
- Do not harass other boaters or display or discharge a firearm on or around Lake Estes
- Arrive 30 minutes before your reservation time for equipment checkout and instructions
Cancellation Policy
Receive a full refund or credit when you cancel at least 48 hours before your reservation. No refunds or rebooking are available for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours, including for bad weather or rain. If Lake Estes cancels due to a lightning storm or other unforeseen circumstances, receive a full refund or credit.

No. Swimming is not allowed in Lake Estes.
Each vehicle requires an Estes Valley Recreation & Park District parking permit. Permits are available for purchase at the Marina Store and are valid from sunrise to midnight on the day of purchase. Overnight parking and camping are not allowed.
Remain seated while on the boat, avoid sharp turns, and do not turn off the motor. Use designated launch areas only and dock slowly and straight while following staff instructions.
