- Follow Colorado boating laws and regulations, including boating safety certification requirements
- Do not cross buoy lines. Yield to non-motorized boats, do not harass other boaters, and do not display or discharge firearms on or around Lake Estes
- Boats are not allowed on the lake before daylight or after dark
- Arrive 30 minutes before your reservation for equipment checkout and instruction
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 48 hours before your reservation for a full refund or credit. No refunds or rebooking for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours, including for bad weather or rain. If Lake Estes cancels because of lightning or other unforeseen circumstances, receive a full refund or credit.

Every vehicle requires an Estes Valley Rec & Park District parking permit. Permits may be purchased at the marina store and are valid from sunrise to midnight on the day of purchase. No overnight parking or camping is allowed.
