- Arrive at the boat 20 minutes before departure and allow extra parking time on weekends and holidays
- Expect late arrivals to reduce your time on the water
- Main charterer must be age 21 or older for groups of 1–6 passengers
- Groups of 7–13 passengers are bareboat charters and require a qualified captain or operator
- Self-operation requires a United States Coast Guard Master’s license, 100 days of Lake Tahoe experience, and insurance covering the boat and marina
- If you hire a captain from the optional captain list for a group of 7–13, captain services and fuel cost $100 per hour, paid directly on arrival and not included in the listed price
- No pets, glass, red wine, or overly messy foods
Cancellation Policy
Cancel more than 10 days before departure for a full refund. Cancellations within 10 days and no-shows are nonrefundable. Fourth of July Fireworks, Memorial Day weekend, the week of July 4, and Labor Day weekend are nonrefundable one month before departure. Full refund if the operator cancels, including for weather.

FAQs
Yes. If you book 7+ passengers, U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) regulations require a Bareboat Charter and you must pay the captain and fuel separately in addition to your prepaid charter fee. An additional $100 per hour is due on arrival and paid directly to your captain. If you book 7+ but arrive with fewer people, you still owe the additional $100 per hour.
Bring your own ice if you want it; the cooler includes an ice pack but ice isn’t provided. Bring your own towel if you plan to swim.
Use the restroom at the marina near the parking lot before you board. The boats do not have restrooms, but you can stop along the way if needed.
