What can I bring on board (and what’s not allowed)?

Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a camera, and a jacket or sweatshirt (it can get chilly on the lake). You can bring your own food and drinks; water is provided, and there’s a cooler or small refrigerator onboard. Do not bring glass, red wine, pets/animals, or overly messy foods.

Are life jackets provided, and do kids have to wear them?

Yes. Life jackets are available for all ages and sizes. Guests under 13 are required by law to wear a life jacket at all times.

Cancellation Policy

Cancel more than 10 days before your booking for a full refund. Cancel within 10 days or no-show for no refund. Full refund if Boat Tahoe cancels; weather cancellations are determined by Boat Tahoe only. Holiday cancellations are non-refundable one month prior.

FAQs

Yes. If you book 7+ passengers, U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) regulations require a Bareboat Charter and you must pay the captain and fuel separately in addition to your prepaid charter fee. An additional $100 per hour is due on arrival and paid directly to your captain. If you book 7+ but arrive with fewer people, you still owe the additional $100 per hour.

Bring your own ice if you want it; the cooler includes an ice pack but ice isn’t provided. Bring your own towel if you plan to swim.

Use the restroom at the marina near the parking lot before you board. The boats do not have restrooms, but you can stop along the way if needed.
