- Arrive at the boat 20 minutes before departure; late arrivals reduce your time on the water
- Lead charterer must be age 21 or older
- Groups of 7–13 operate as bareboat charters and require an independently selected captain or qualified self-operation
- Captains from the referral list charge $100 per hour for captain services and fuel, paid directly to the captain on arrival and not included in the listed price
- Self-operation requires a USCG Masters license, 100 days of Lake Tahoe experience, and insurance covering the boat and marina
- Leave pets, glass, red wine and overly messy foods behind
- Captain gratuity is not included in the listed price
Cancellation Policy
Cancel more than 10 days before your booking for a full refund. Cancellations within 10 days and no-shows are nonrefundable. Fourth of July Fireworks, Memorial Day Weekend, the week of July 4, and Labor Day Weekend bookings are nonrefundable one month before departure. Full refund if the operator cancels, including due to weather.

FAQs
Yes. If you book for 7+ passengers, USCG rules require a Bareboat Charter and you pay the captain and fuel separately in addition to your prepaid charter fee. An additional $100 per hour is due upon arrival and paid directly to the captain. Group size is based on the number of passengers at the time of booking, even if fewer people show up.
Arrive at the marina at least 30 minutes before your charter (longer on weekends and holidays), and be at the boat 15 minutes before departure. If you arrive late, your time on the lake will be shorter.
Yes. Bring your own food, snacks, and drinks; water is provided. A cooler or small refrigerator is available onboard, but ice isn’t provided, so bring your own.
