- Expect, when using a captain from the referral list, a $100-per-hour captain and fuel charge paid directly to the captain on arrival and not included in the listed price
- Recognize that self-operation requires a US Coast Guard master's license, 100 days of Lake Tahoe experience, and insurance covering the boat and marina

Cancellation Policy
Cancel more than 10 days before departure for a full refund. Cancellations within 10 days and no-shows are nonrefundable. Fourth of July Fireworks, Memorial Day weekend, Fourth of July week, and Labor Day weekend bookings are nonrefundable within one month. Full refund if the operator cancels; weather cancellations are determined by the operator.

FAQs
Yes. For 7+ passengers, USCG (United States Coast Guard) rules require a bareboat charter, and the captain and fuel must be paid separately in addition to your prepaid charter fee. An additional $100 per hour is due upon arrival and paid directly to your captain. Group size is based on the number of passengers at the time of booking, and every guest counts as a passenger (no matter the age).

Yes. You can bring your own food, snacks, and drinks. Water is provided, and the boat has a cooler or small refrigerator. Ice isn’t provided, so bring your own.
