Important details
- Arrive at the boat 20 minutes before departure; allow extra parking time on weekends and holidays
- Late arrival reduces your time on the water
- For groups of 1–6, the main charterer must be 21 or older
- Groups of 7–13 are bareboat charters and require a qualified captain or operator
- Self-operation requires a US Coast Guard Masters license, 100 days of Lake Tahoe experience, and insurance covering the boat and marina
- If using a captain from the referral list for a bareboat charter, the captain and fuel cost $100 per hour and are paid directly to the captain on arrival; this is not included in the listed price
- Captain gratuity is not included in the listed price
- Glass, red wine, overly messy foods, and pets are not allowed

Cancellation Policy
Cancel more than 10 days before booking for a full refund. Cancellations within 10 days and no-shows are nonrefundable. For 4th of July Fireworks, Memorial Day Weekend, the week of July 4, and Labor Day Weekend, cancellations are nonrefundable within one month. Full refund if Boat Tahoe cancels, including due to weather.

FAQs
Yes. If you book for 7 or more passengers, United States Coast Guard (USCG) regulations require a Bareboat Charter and you pay the captain and fuel separately in addition to your prepaid charter fee. An additional $100 per hour is due upon arrival and paid directly to your captain. If you book 7+ but arrive with fewer, you still pay the additional $100 per hour.
Bring your own ice. The onboard cooler includes an ice pack, but ice isn’t provided.
No. Use the marina restroom before you board. If needed, you can stop along the way.
