- Arrive at the boat 20 minutes before departure; allow extra parking time on weekends and holidays
- Expect late arrival to reduce your time on the water
- Do not bring glass, red wine, overly messy foods or pets
- For charters of 1–6 passengers, the main charterer must be age 21 or older
- Groups of 7–13 operate as bareboat charters; a referred independent captain and fuel cost $100 per hour, paid directly to the captain on arrival and not included in the listed price
- Self-operation requires a U.S. Coast Guard Master license, 100 days of Lake Tahoe experience and insurance covering the boat and marina
- Captain gratuity is not included in the listed price
Cancellation Policy
Cancel more than 10 days before your booking for a full refund. Cancellations within 10 days and no-shows are nonrefundable. Fourth of July Fireworks, Memorial Day weekend, the week of Fourth of July, and Labor Day weekend bookings are nonrefundable one month before departure. Full refund if the operator cancels, including for weather.

Yes. For parties over 6 passengers, US Coast Guard regulations require a Bareboat Charter, which means you pay the captain separately in addition to the prepaid charter fee. An additional $100 per hour is due upon arrival and paid directly to your captain (cash, Venmo, or Zelle). Group size is based on the number of passengers at the time of booking; if you book 7+ but arrive with fewer, you still owe the additional $100 per hour.
Arrive at the marina at least 30 minutes before your charter (longer on weekends and holidays) and plan to be at the boat 20 minutes prior. If you arrive late, your time on the lake will be shortened.
No. Use the restroom at the marina near the parking lot before boarding. Your captain can stop along the way if needed.
