- Self-operation requires a United States Coast Guard Master's license, 100 days of Lake Tahoe experience, and insurance covering the boat and marina

Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation more than 10 days before departure. Cancellations within 10 days and no-shows are nonrefundable. Holiday bookings for 4th of July Fireworks, Memorial Day weekend, the week of July 4, and Labor Day weekend are nonrefundable one month before departure. Full refund if the operator cancels, including for weather.

Yes. If you book for 7+ passengers, United States Coast Guard (USCG) rules require a Bareboat Charter and you pay the captain and fuel separately in addition to your prepaid charter fee. Plan on an additional $100 per hour due on arrival, paid directly to your captain. Group size is based on the number of passengers at the time of booking, even if fewer people show up.
Use the restroom at the marina near the parking lot before you board. Boats do not have restrooms, but you can stop along the way if needed.
Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a camera/phone, and a jacket or sweatshirt (it can get chilly). If you plan to swim, bring a swimsuit and towel (towels are not provided). Water is provided, and you can bring your own food, snacks, and drinks. A cooler or small refrigerator is on board; coolers include an ice pack but ice is not provided, so bring your own.
