- Arrive at the boat 20 minutes before departure; allow extra parking time on weekends and holidays
- For groups of 1–6, the main charterer must be 21 or older
- Groups of 7–10 operate as bareboat charters and require a qualified captain or operator
- Self-operation requires a United States Coast Guard Master's license, 100 days of Lake Tahoe experience, and insurance covering the boat and marina
- For groups of 7–10 using a referral-list captain, captain services and fuel cost $100 per hour, paid directly to the captain on arrival and not included in the listed price
- Leave glass, red wine, overly messy foods, and pets behind

Cancellation Policy
Receive a full refund when you cancel more than 10 days before your booking. Cancellations within 10 days and no-shows are nonrefundable. Full refund if Boat Tahoe cancels.

FAQs
Yes. If you book for 7+ passengers, United States Coast Guard (USCG) regulations require a Bareboat Charter, and you pay the captain separately in addition to your prepaid charter fee. An additional $100 per hour is due on arrival and paid directly to your captain. If you book 7+ but arrive with fewer passengers, you still pay the additional $100 per hour.
Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a camera/phone, and a jacket or sweatshirt (it can get chilly). If you plan to swim, bring a swimsuit and towel (towels aren’t provided). Water is provided. You can bring your own food and drinks, and the boat has a cooler or small refrigerator; coolers include an ice pack, but ice isn’t provided.
Don’t bring glass of any kind, red wine, or overly messy foods. Pets and animals aren’t allowed.
