Important details
- Arrive at the boat 20 minutes before departure; late arrivals reduce your time on the water
- For groups of 1–6, the main charterer must be at least 21; every person counts as a passenger regardless of age
- Groups of 7–13 operate as bareboat charters and require an independently qualified captain unless someone in your group operates the vessel
- Self-operation requires a USCG Masters license, 100 days of Lake Tahoe experience, and insurance covering the boat and marina
- If you use a captain from the referral list, you'll pay the captain directly at $100 per hour for captain services and fuel; this is not included in the listed price
- Captain gratuity is not included in the listed price

Cancellation Policy
Full refund for cancellations more than 10 days before departure. No refund within 10 days or for no-shows. Holiday bookings for 4th of July Fireworks, Memorial Day Weekend, the week of July 4, and Labor Day Weekend are nonrefundable within one month. Full refund if the operator cancels, including weather cancellations.
FAQs
Yes. For groups over 6 passengers, USCG regulations require a Bareboat Charter and you pay the captain separately in addition to the prepaid charter fee. An additional $100 per hour is due upon arrival and paid directly to your captain. Group size is based on the number of passengers at the time of booking; if you book 7+ but arrive with fewer, you still pay the additional $100 per hour.
No. Boats do not have restrooms. Use the marina restroom near the parking lot before you board; your captain can stop along the way if needed.
Yes. Bring your own food, snacks, and drinks. Water is provided, and the boat has a cooler or small refrigerator for your items.
