- Arrive at the boat 20 minutes before departure; allow extra parking time on weekends and holidays
- Main charterer must be age 21 or older; every passenger counts regardless of age
- Groups of 7–13 are Bareboat Charters, meaning you rent the boat and use an independent captain or operator
- For groups of 7–13 using a captain from the referral list, captain and fuel cost $100 per hour and are not included in the listed price; you’ll pay the captain directly on arrival
- Operating the vessel yourself requires a United States Coast Guard Master’s license, 100 days of Lake Tahoe experience, and insurance covering the boat and marina
- Captain gratuity is not included in the listed price

Cancellation Policy
Receive a full refund when you cancel more than 10 days before your booking. Cancellations within 10 days and no-shows are nonrefundable. Holiday bookings for 4th of July Fireworks, Memorial Day Weekend, the week of 4th of July, and Labor Day Weekend are nonrefundable one month before the booking. Receive a full refund if the operator cancels, including due to weather.

FAQs
Yes. For groups over 6 passengers, U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) regulations require a bareboat charter, and your captain and fuel cost are paid separately in addition to your prepaid charter fee. An additional $100 per hour is due upon arrival and paid directly to your captain. If you book 7+ but arrive with fewer passengers, you are still responsible for the additional $100 per hour.
Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a camera/phone, and a jacket or sweatshirt. If you plan to swim, bring a swimsuit and towel (towels are not provided). You can bring your own food and drinks. Do not bring glass of any kind, red wine, messy foods, or pets/animals.
No. A cooler or small refrigerator is available, and coolers include an ice pack, but ice isn’t provided—bring your own.
