Important details
- Rental eligibility: over age 18
- Maximum combined weight of passengers and gear: 700 lbs
- A valid boating safety certificate is required for the boat operator only. A New Jersey certificate is preferred; an equivalent certificate from another state is accepted. A boating endorsement on a driver's license does not qualify. Bring your certificate to check-in; without it, the rental will be denied.
- Bring a valid photo ID.
- A $50 cash damage deposit is required at check-in and is not included in the listed price. It is refundable after inspection if the boat and equipment are returned in their original condition; some or all may be retained to cover damage.
- Stay south of Buoy 42 and west of Buoy 45. Tice's Shoal, Barnegat Inlet, and Long Beach Island are outside the permitted area. Traveling beyond these limits forfeits the deposit and prevents future rentals.
- Use the boat for crabbing and fishing only. No towing or watersports.
Cancellation Policy
You'll receive a full refund or credit with at least 48 hours' cancellation notice, or if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Cancellations within 48 hours and no-shows are nonrefundable.
