Itinerary
Your adventure will commence at The Bayou Sorrel Park where the tour guide will meet you. You will follow him a few minutes down the road to park your vehicle. The tour guide will provide a brief introduction on safety and instructions on handling the kayak for a smooth paddle. The guide will assist with entering the kayak and ensure your comfort. You will then explore the cypress forest as the tour guide shares his knowledge of the area. You will unload at the same landing with the assistance of the guide.

The Atchafalaya is home to many creatures. On a typical day we may see a variety of birds and alligators, and sometimes otters, beavers, snakes, fishing spiders, and raccoons.
Dress for the weather. It can feel about 10 degrees cooler on the water on cool days. In summer, a hat and light clothing are recommended.
