- Requires Thompson Boat Center Level 2 sculling certification and rental validation
- Arrive 10 minutes early
- Complete a waiver for every member of your party before arrival
- Dress for getting a little wet
- Return your boat by the reserved time; a $30 late fee per boat applies when returned more than 15 minutes late
- Allow extra time for paid on-site parking, which may fill on weekdays
Cancellation Policy
Receive a full refund when you cancel at least 48 hours before your reservation. No refund is available if you cancel within 4 hours of the rental or do not show. Receive a full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Plan for DC rush hour. Monday through Friday, Rock Creek Parkway is one-way southbound from 6:45–9:30am and one-way northbound from 3:45–6:30pm; it is also blocked from crossing at Virginia Ave.
