Danny is the heart of this Little Havana experience, and reviewers make that crystal clear. A longtime local resident, he has genuine relationships with shopkeepers, neighbors, and community members throughout the area, which gives the tour a feel that's hard to manufacture. His deep knowledge spans Cuban history, Miami culture, and the stories behind the neighborhood itself, and he delivers it all with humor and warmth that keeps groups engaged throughout. The food is a serious highlight, with guests sampling Cuban sandwiches, empanadas, croquettes, guava pastries, sugar cane juice, Cuban coffee, and freshly made churros. One recurring piece of advice from past visitors: come hungry, but pace yourself, because the portions add up quickly. The tours also tend to run a bit longer than scheduled, so leaving your afternoon open is a smart move. With a near-perfect rating across hundreds of reviews, Danny has built something genuinely special in Little Havana. This is a great fit for anyone who wants more than just a meal out, combining local history, cultural context, and authentic food in a way that feels personal rather than touristy.
Me and my wife had a walking Food Tour in Little Havana, Miami with Danny. Danny was an excellent tour guide with deep knowledge about the world especially Little Havana. We got a lesson in both Cuba and Little Havana history with a taste of culinary highlights through some of Cuba popular favorites. We had pork sandwich, beef empanadas, sugar cane juice, Cuban espresso, some churros and cream cheese and guava pastries (delicioso). Above all of this, it was Danny’s personality and knowledge that kept us engaged and made our tour fun. Danny is an icon in this town and he’s beloved by many and his gravitas opened doors. I highly recommend a food tour with Danny, you will enjoy it!
