Helmet, Safety briefing
Ride aboard a fully restored M36 Jackson tank destroyer and experience what it felt like to be a WWII crew member. You’ll climb aboard, get a safety briefing, and take a short run with turns, stops, and hill climbs.
All riders must be at least 5' tall and able to stand unassisted, and you must be able to get in and out of the tank without assistance. Closed-toed, durable shoes with tread are required. Operations are weather permitting, and participants may be limited by height, weight, and mobility due to space constraints.
Full refund with 72 hours notice of cancellation. Full refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows will be charged the full price.
What should I wear for the tank ride?
You must wear durable closed-toed shoes with tread (no exceptions). Wear non-restrictive, flexible clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty.
Can I bring a camera or GoPro on the ride?
You may take photos and video during the experience, but you’re responsible for your equipment and its safety. Large cameras can’t be accommodated due to space constraints; handheld GoPros are allowed, but please don’t bring mounts.
Where will I ride inside the tank, and is there seating?
One passenger rides seated in the hull gunner compartment, and up to four passengers ride standing in the open-top turret.
What happens if weather or maintenance prevents the ride from operating?
Tank rides are weather permitting. If poor weather or maintenance issues prevent operation at your scheduled time, alternatives will be discussed (such as rescheduling for a later time/date or an alternate option). If a reschedule can’t be accommodated, a full refund is available.
Are earplugs available?
You’ll be issued a helmet with basic hearing protection. Earplugs can be provided if requested.
