There are no bathroom facilities along the route, apart from possible portable toilets. Use the restroom before arriving; the closest public restroom is at Publix at the other end of the meeting-point shopping plaza.
Wear comfortable clothing and sneakers or hiking sandals. Avoid short shorts, which can ride up and cause saddle chafing. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a camera. For extra shade during the ride, wear a cap under your helmet.
