Important details
- Age 18+ required to book. Ages 9–17 require an adult present on the water at all times.
- Ages 4–8 may ride only as passengers in tandem kayaks or canoes with an adult.
- Weight limits: 275 lbs for single kayaks, 550 lbs for tandem kayaks, and 600 lbs for canoes.
- Park entry is not included in the listed price. Entry requires an $8 daily pass or a $28 state park sticker.
- Additional charges are not included in the listed price: $10 per unlocked item; late returns at double the hourly rate for every 15 minutes overdue; $25 each for lost or damaged paddles or life jackets; and kayak repair or replacement costs based on damage.
- Complete your waiver on the day of your rental, before your rental time—not earlier. Equipment lock combinations are emailed after you sign. Ensure everyone in your group completes a waiver; you're responsible for anyone who does not.
- Wear a life jacket while kayaking. Use only the equipment you reserved, and return and lock up all equipment on time.
- Launch and land only at the boat launch, not the beach. Pack out all trash.
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund or credit. With less notice, partial refunds or credits are discretionary. No-shows receive no refund. If the operator cancels for weather or other circumstances, you'll receive a full refund or credit. Launching is allowed in light rain; high winds, thunder or lightning qualify for rescheduling or a full refund.

A canoe accommodates 2 adults, or 2 adults and 1 child.
Parking at the boat launch is limited, and access depends on flooding. You can also park near the beach and walk to the launch. If you're camping, follow the trail past the beach to the launch. The nearest restrooms are in the beach area.
Wear quick-dry clothing and water-friendly shoes. Bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, water, snacks, and a towel or change of clothes. Use a dry bag or waterproof case for valuables, and bring your phone; service may be spotty.
