    Cancel at least 72 hours before your scheduled tour for a full refund; later cancellations are nonrefundable. Medical cancellations may be refunded with valid documentation provided within 2 weeks. Receive a full refund if the operator cancels before the trip starts due to low enrollment, unsafe weather or route conditions, safety issues, or unmet physical requirements.

    You need to be in good physical shape and able to hike about 7 miles roundtrip (up to about 4 hours on the trail) on steep, rocky, slippery, uneven terrain while carrying a 10 lb backpack.

    Wear sturdy hiking boots with ankle support. Bring polyester or synthetic layers, warm thick socks, and (weather dependent) sunglasses/hat and hat/gloves. You can also bring personal items like a camera, binoculars, food, and a reusable water bottle.
