Take a helicopter flight from Juneau to Mendenhall Glacier, then step onto the glacier for a guided walk. You’ll get glacier boots, a safety briefing, and time to explore features like melt-water pools and glacial silt.
Passengers weighing 250 pounds (113 kg) or more are charged an additional $150 at booking. This is a moderate-activity tour with uneven glacier surfaces and 18-inch steps to get in and out of the aircraft. Bags and several items (including tablets and drones) are prohibited on the aircraft; lockers are provided.
