Highlights
Build practical skills for responding to minor and major dive emergencies. Learn through knowledge development, rescue exercises, and scenarios that put your skills into practice.
- Practice self-rescue techniques and stress management for other divers
- Recognize emergency situations and respond with appropriate equipment
- Rescue panicked and unresponsive divers during scenario-based exercises
- Work with oxygen units, floats, marker buoys, and possibly CPR mannequins
- Apply rescue knowledge through instructor-led exercises
Know before you go
- Participants must be age 10 or older
- Arrive by 8:00am for check-in
- Bring your basic scuba equipment and a pocket mask for in-water resuscitation practice
- Provide your advanced certification number and certification association at booking
- Provide your full name, date of birth, address, and email address for certification cards and e-learning
- The two-day course runs Tuesday through Sunday from 8:00am to 4:30pm and requires at least two participants to run
Cancellation Policy
Course fees are non-refundable, including unused portions. Participate within one year of purchase or forfeit the value paid. A $125 per-person rescheduling fee applies for cancelling, dropping, no-shows, late arrival, or arriving unprepared.
