Moonlight Railbike Ride in Fort Bragg

Designed for riders of all skill levels, this evening outing combines active travel with time to relax among the redwoods. Optional electric assist helps make the return trip more leisurely.

• Look for osprey, blue herons, and other wildlife along the route
• Store your bag or backpack in the basket on each Railbike
• Pack food and nonalcoholic drinks for your time at Glen Blair Junction
• Enjoy picnic tables and a loop hiking trail among the redwoods
• Dress in comfortable layers for cooler coastal conditions

Itinerary

Join us at the Railbike Barn before sunset for an evening expedition unlike any other. You will meet your guides and mount up on our Railbikes that are specially equipped with an electric assist and LED lights to illuminate this magical experience. After a quick tutelage on how to use the electric assist, the group will leave the Railbike Station, meandering by the Pudding Creek Estuary and into the redwood forest towards Glen Blair Bar.

Glen Blair Bar will be in full swing. Sit and roast marshmallows by the fire, take a romantic stroll through the forest, or play a competitive game of cornhole.

Bikes will depart at 20 second intervals to ride back to the station. The moonlight as well as the LEDs will guide you home.

• Arrive at 5:45 PM; arrivals more than 15 minutes late cannot ride
• Bring valid photo ID matching the reservation information
• Single riders ages 16+ only
• Seated passengers ages 3+ only; no lap seating
• Minimum height: 31 inches from hip to floor
• Maximum weight: 250 pounds per passenger and 500 pounds per Railbike
• Wear closed-toe shoes and a helmet
• Rides operate rain or shine; dress appropriately for the weather
• No alcohol or drones
