Join the volunteer team at an Outer Banks festival where competing teams launch empty one-sixth keg barrels from a flight deck to see whose travels farthest. Help keep this community celebration running while net proceeds support the Rogallo Foundation.
- Help protect the surrounding Sound waters by keeping event grounds clear of debris
- Support the Kids Zone with “Boo-Tag”, coloring, and lawn games
- Guide vehicles entering and leaving the event site as part of the Parking team
- Assist wherever extra help is needed as a Floater
- Enjoy live music alongside the keg-launch competition

Important details
- Debris Control requires lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Parking volunteers must be 18 or older. The role requires extended standing, working outdoors in varying weather, strong customer service skills, a courteous manner, teamwork, and accurate tracking of parked vehicles
- Floater roles require flexibility and an understanding of the duties of the various volunteer teams
- Experience working with children is preferred for Kids Zone volunteers but is not required
- Alcohol and volunteer brewcards are for ages 21+ only. Bring a valid government ID for age verification
- Dogs are allowed. Keep your dog leashed and clean up after it
- Wear jeans without holes or appropriately sized shorts and closed-toed shoes, especially for roles involving heavy objects
- Arrive 20–30 minutes before your shift starts to check in and learn your role; allow for traffic
Cancellation Policy
Team registrations are fully refundable with at least 30 days' notice; cancellations within 30 days and no-shows are non-refundable. You may request rescheduling until the day before the activity. Same-day rescheduling is not permitted; approved exceptions may cost 50% of the activity price. Late arrivals are not refunded or rescheduled; approved rescheduling may cost 50%.

Food and drinks from vendor booths and beer punch cards are sold separately and aren't included in the listed price. Gratuity is also not included. Each punch card covers four full glasses from beer vendors.
