Pair peaceful shell hunting with time to explore island life
6 hrs
Up to 6 people
Boat trip, bottled water
Set out on a private, captain-led boat adventure designed for shell lovers and island explorers. Enjoy a coastal outing that balances beachcombing with the freedom to explore at your own pace.
We'll cruise across the picturesque Pamlico Sound to reach the remote, hard-to-access beaches of Ocracoke, where shelling is at its best. With each tide, the island reveals a fresh spread of treasures -scotch bonnets, sand dollars, whelks, olive shells, and more. These less-traveled stretches of shoreline are ideal for beachcombing in peace.
But the adventure doesn't stop there.
After shelling, you'll have free time to explore the village of Ocracoke-a laid-back island town rich in history, culture, and coastal charm. Wander the quaint streets, grab lunch at a local cafe, visit the Ocracoke Lighthouse, or explore the shops and art galleries. History buffs can stop by the British Cemetery or Teach's Hole, tied to legendary Blackbeard.
This booking is for the whole experience, which fits up to 6 guests.
You'll receive a full refund or credit if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows are charged the full price.
