Paddle past summer wildflowers and learn about the river's estuary ecosystem

Kayak, equipment, guide
Explore the Orange River with a guide in sit-inside tandem kayaks with comfortable seats and plenty of legroom. Fewer boats help limit wildlife disturbance and make it easier to communicate with your guide. The pace is relatively leisurely, though you'll contend with wind and currents.
Tickets are nonrefundable and cannot be rescheduled. Tours usually run in light rain and moderate weather. The operator may cancel up to 1 hour before the start for severe or unsafe weather. If the operator cancels, you can reschedule subject to availability or receive credit for a future event.

Yes. The kayak tour uses tandem kayaks that handle like a single when you paddle one alone.
Dress for the weather; a T-shirt and shorts usually work. Wear shoes that can get wet when entering and exiting your kayak, and avoid slippery flip-flops. Bring sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat. Insect repellent may be needed for evening outings.
Bring water or another drink for your paddle. You can also bring a snack if you like.
