Cancel at least 72 hours before the tour for a full refund. Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable. Medical cancellations may be refunded with valid documentation provided within 2 weeks. Full refund if the operator cancels before departure due to low enrollment, unsafe weather or route conditions, or other safety issues. The $100 National Forest Service permit fee is non-refundable.

No. Brown bears are wild animals, so sightings are not guaranteed.
Bring synthetic layers (avoid cotton or denim), warm thick socks, and optional sunglasses/hat, hat/gloves (weather dependent), camera or binoculars, and money for guide gratuities. Personal clothing and hiking boots are not provided.

Julia was a great guide! Would absolutely do this excursion again. We witnessed a whale completely breach the surface and another whale or two come up multiple times while in the kayaks. So much fun and quite exciting. Wish we were quick enough to get it on camera…. June 23,2026
