- Weight limit 250 lbs per person due to aircraft restrictions
- Requires hiking 1–2 miles through wilderness terrain

- Sign a liability and assumption-of-risk waiver before departure
- Expect no restrooms, shelter, or cell service at Pack Creek
- Follow guide and ranger directions, stay with the group, and store food in designated bear-proof lockers
- Dress for all weather conditions; trips operate unless conditions are unsafe
- A non-refundable $100 per-person permit administration fee applies
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 72 hours before the tour for a full refund. Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable. Medical cancellations may be refunded with valid documentation provided within 2 weeks. Full refund if the operator cancels before departure due to low enrollment, unsafe weather or route conditions, or other safety issues. The $100 National Forest Service permit fee is non-refundable.

No. Brown bears are wild animals, so sightings are not guaranteed.
Bring synthetic layers (avoid cotton or denim), warm thick socks, and optional sunglasses/hat, hat/gloves (weather dependent), camera or binoculars, and money for guide gratuities. Personal clothing and hiking boots are not provided.
