Book Your Trip Reserve your spot online or by phone. Choose your preferred date and time. You’ll receive a confirmation email with meeting details, directions, and what to bring.

Arrive at the Pagosa Adventure Base Camp (15–30 minutes before trip time)
Check in at the Pagosa Adventure Basecamp. Give yourself extra time to park, use the restroom, and get geared up.

U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket
Paddle
Optional gear (like wetsuits or splash jackets) is available during cold or high-water conditions.

Meet Your Guide & Safety Briefing Your certified guide will introduce themselves, give a safety talk, and explain paddling techniques and river conditions.

Shuttle to the Launch Point We’ll transport your group to the riverside launch. Enjoy a quick ride through scenic Pagosa!

Raft the Town Run! (Approx. 1.5 hours from arrival at basecamp) Paddle through Class II-III rapids, float past the hot springs, and take on the exciting Chamber Wave. Expect splashes, smiles, and great photo ops!

Return Shuttle to Pagosa Adventure Base Camp Once your run is complete, we’ll shuttle you and your crew back to the outpost where your dry clothes and car are waiting.

Important details
- Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled departure
- Ages 6+ and over 50 lbs only
- Wear closed-toe shoes; river booties are available to borrow
- Children under 12 require a parent or legal guardian on the raft
- Travelers under 18 require a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian
- Requires light paddling, climbing in and out of the raft, unsupported sitting, and walking on uneven riverbanks
Cancellation Policy
Cancel 24 hours or more before departure for a refund minus a $25 per person cancellation fee. Cancellations within 24 hours of departure are non-refundable.

Wear clothing you don’t mind getting wet. Closed-toe shoes are required; you may wear your own or borrow river booties.
Bring sunscreen, sunglasses with a strap, and water. A towel and a change of clothes for after the trip are optional but recommended.
