Visitors consistently rave about the passionate trainers here who clearly love what they do and treat the dolphins with genuine care. The staff earns high marks for being friendly, knowledgeable, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Multiple international travelers have called this a dream-come-true experience, with many specifically recommending the Signature Swim option that takes you into deeper water where dolphins will push or pull you around. The facility itself is well-maintained, and if you're just curious, there's an affordable viewing option for those who want to observe without participating. The main point of contention centers on expectations versus reality for the dolphin swim experiences. While most visitors feel the encounter is worth it and describe it as once-in-a-lifetime, a few were surprised by the brief duration in the water (around 15 minutes) and limited interaction time, especially given the premium price point. The interactions typically include one or two behaviors like being pushed through the water, along with touching and photo opportunities. Setting realistic expectations seems key to satisfaction. Visiting during weekdays can help you avoid crowds and enjoy a more relaxed experience.
If you are going to the Keys, you need to check this place out! And pay the extra to do the Signature Swim! That allows you to swim out in the deep water and interact with the Dolphins. They'll either push you around by your feet, or pull you around by the dorsal fin. It's definitely a once in a lifetime experience! And all the Dolphin trainers were also excellent as well as very friendly! (The video and pictures were after we were out of the water! The Dolphins, Bob and Leo were just hanging around, being curious!)
