Dauphin Island Marina
Captain Spencer and his crew, particularly deckhand Tyson, have earned an exceptional reputation along the Dauphin Island and Gulf Shores coast. Reviewers consistently praise Spencer's deep knowledge of local waters and his ability to find fish no matter the conditions. Whether it's offshore deep dropping, bay fishing, or sunset dolphin tours, guests report non-stop action and say they caught fish from start to finish. The crew works hard to tailor each trip to what guests want, making adjustments on the water to ensure everyone leaves with coolers full of fish. What really stands out is how welcoming they are to all skill levels. First-time charter guests and families with young children have wonderful experiences, with Spencer taking time to teach and make sure even a 4-year-old has "the best day ever." Many reviewers mention returning multiple times and refusing to book with anyone else. The personal touches matter too - one guest shared how Spencer jumped their car battery early in the morning so they could get home. The boat itself gets high marks, and Spencer even shares his ceviche recipe with guests. It's clear this operation combines serious fishing expertise with genuine hospitality.
Had the best time ever! Caught our limit early. The Captains are very professional, friendly and help you out in any way they can. They had plenty of bait on hand which was good because I apparently like to feed the fish. I have ALWAYS gotten sea sick and I didn’t this time and it may have been due to the type of boat it was (catamaran). The beanbag chair was an added plus to relax in as well. I can’t enough great things about them. We’d definitely go again and highly recommended them.
