- Ride with a companion, and let a friend or family member know your planned route. Cell service can be spotty.
- Review your route's distances, elevation changes, current trail conditions, and weather before riding. Navigate cautiously around downed trees, brush, and other trail obstacles.
- Arrive at least 20 minutes early with your gear in good working condition and ready to ride.
