Walk the French Quarter with a pirate guide and sort fact from myth in 2 hours
2 hours, less than a mile walk
Guided walking tour, English
Explore New Orleans pirate history on a guided French Quarter walk that covers less than a mile. Follow your pirate guide through Jackson Square, Pirates Alley, and Royal Street as you hear the stories behind the Lafitte brothers.
Arrive 15 minutes early and wear suitable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian; the tour is not really built for kids under 7. Food, drinks, and gratuity are not included.
Full payment is refundable up until 48 hours from your tour date and start time. Before 48 hours, you can reschedule. No refunds or rain checks after 48 hours. No-shows do not receive a refund or raincheck.
Tours run in rain; if there is lightning or it is unsafe, the tour will end and you will be rebooked on the next available tour.
Guides are not movie pirates and kids under 7 may not enjoy it. The French Quarter can include adult language and behavior; guides adjust when kids attend.
If you are 21 or older you may drink. If the group agrees, the tour may stop at a bar. Disruptive guests may be removed.

The tours dive into how pirates shaped New Orleans politically and economically, covering the Lafitte brothers and other fascinating characters that most visitors never hear about. The staff gets high marks for flexibility and customer service, accommodating late arrivals and creating memorable experiences whether you're on a crowded tour or end up with a private one.
