Staff members like Ashley, Kathy, Bennie, and Caleb get consistent shoutouts for creating a genuinely welcoming experience. First-timers seem especially grateful for the patient, friendly approach—whether it's helping a three-year-old find the right life jacket for their first canoe trip or walking nervous wave runner newbies through the basics. The team clearly knows the lake well and takes time to share tips about sandbars and good spots to explore. Even the dock crew gets praise for being thorough and professional during boat checks. The rental fleet itself impresses people, with pontoons and speedboats described as clean, well-maintained, and practically new. Families appreciate thoughtful touches like Bluetooth connections, lily pads for swimming, and life preservers for dogs. Several reviewers mention returning multiple times throughout the summer, which speaks volumes. The one operational hiccup worth noting: restroom availability can be tight during busy times since there are only two facilities that double as changing rooms. Overall, though, this place builds the kind of loyal following that comes from consistently good boats and genuinely helpful people.
