- Bring at least one cell phone in a dry case and keep it on while on the water
- Wear a life jacket at all times on the water; a $50 per person fee, not included in the listed price, applies for noncompliance
- Stay within 300 feet of shore, south of Fort Worden toward Port Townsend without reaching the Ferry Terminal; do not paddle north toward Point Wilson or offshore into Port Townsend Bay
- A $50 per person fee, not included in the listed price, applies for flagrantly ignoring rental-area boundaries
- Keep 100 yards from marine mammals and birds, 1,000 yards from Southern Resident killer whales, and 200 yards from transient or Bigg’s killer whales
- Move your kayak and gear from the business area to the water by hand or with the available cart
- Accept responsibility for lost, stolen, unreturned, or repairable damaged equipment
- Bring a Discover Pass for each vehicle; it is not included in the listed price and costs $10 per day or $30 per year
Cancellation Policy
Full refund up to 72 hours before the rental. 50% refund up to 24 hours before; no refund within 24 hours. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
